Our Breeding Philosophy

At Oakpointe Equine Services , we believe that breeding dreams shouldn't be unobtainable because of the high costs. We strive to make this as affordable as possible, without sacrificing quality and results. 

I am certified in three areas, Artificial Insemination, Ultra sound and Embryo transfer.  Though I do not carry a certification for frozen semen, I am able to provide the services with great success.  Stable license #35121540

Timing is everything. The reason we offer package pricing is because I do not like to breed on a "hope or guess". Every mare is followed hour by hour, and we breed with a technique called DEEP HORN INSEMINATION. By breeding within an hour of ovulation, we have found a high success rate. Yes, sometimes, I am up all night, but isn't the goal to catch the mare as soon as possible, and in the least amount of time? 

Cycle package pricing includes unlimited ultra sounds up to the 14 day foal check, The process of inseminating and all routine medications needed for this process. Other medications such as regumate, settle and Deslorelin are not included, but provided if needed. 

This service is also provided as a package price per cycle. We also have our own recip herd or you can choose to use your own. Our recip lease is $3500 for one breeding term. This includes the mare, any medications needed to sync her cycle with your mare, the process of transfer, and 14/30 day embryo check. Nothing is due on the recip mare until she is checked 30 days in foal. At that point you can take the recip mare home with you, or board her with us for the foaling process.
